On January 9th, at 13:57 Engine 2-39 was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to the 100 block of church avenue for smoke from a house. Chief 3 arrived on the scene with smoke showing. The incident eventually went to a second alarm. Crews assisted with throwing ladders, fire attack and overhaul.
